On The Tour: Beaver Lake

This year we saw a completely different Beaver Lake than ever before.

The lake levels went up over 16 feet and it felt like the lake nearly doubled in size. This pushed fish all over the lake into peoples backyards and into shrubs they've never been to before.

Fish always follow the water so you can imagine flipping became the name of the game. I pretty much kept a MHX EPS90hf in my hand and hit as many bushes and timber i could find. The Strike King Hack attack jig is perfect for that scenario. I used either Black and Blue or Bama Craw in most situations. Most of the time, I'm flipping the jig with 65 pound PLINE teflon coated braid or 20 pound PLINE tactical fluorocarbon.
